HILL, Linda Susan

Linda Susan Stewart Hill was born May 25, 1958, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and died June 16, 2008, in Tucson, Arizona. She leaves her husband, Jerry Hill, of Tucson; her mother, Margaret Neal Stewart of Holly, Michigan; brother, Donald Stewart of North Fort Meyers, Florida; niece, Sharlene Stewart of Port Charlotte, Florida; nephew, Shaun Stewart of Tampa, Florida; and great-niece, Charity Stewart, of Port Charlotte, Florida. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, as well as her special friend, Jan Davis, of Tucson. Preceding her in death was her beloved father, Rex H. Stewart, of Holly, Michigan. Linda worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson as a Patient Tech Nurse and an Emergency Room Technician. Linda was active in community service work and Alcoholics Anonymous, participating in many benefits and marathons. She was especially proud of a benefit in which she helped a mother find her son whom she had given up for adoption as a baby. Later on, the mother and son were in a bike-a-thon together that Linda helped organize. Cremation has taken place, and she was enurned on September 15, 2008, in Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. Linda was a unique person with her bubbly personality and energetic presence.
