STEWARD, Walford Lyn

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/19/2009 Walford Lyn Steward, 71, died Monday, June 15, 2009, in Eagar at the Beehive Home. He was born Dec. 9, 1937, in Crestview, Fla. to Kennie Stewart and Clara Anderson. Lyn served his country in the United States Air Force from Feb. 19, 1957, to Nov. 7, 1958. He was a truck driver (owner/operator for 40 years). He always wanted to see what was over the next hill. He was always full of adventure and loved to fish, travel the country and find a place he had not been before. He is survived by his sons, Mike (Martha) Stewart of Buckhorn, N.M.; David (Jenni) Stewart, Eagar; Lyn Jr. (Marie) Stewart of Eagar; Aubrey Stewart of Willcox; brother Nolan Stewart of Mobile, Ala.; sister Fay Wirtanen of Star, Idaho; and six grandchildren, Dustin, Chelsie, Clayton, Kylie, Tony Rhea and Aubrey Ann.
