The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/17/2009 Lucy Taylay Lewis of Cibecue went home to be with the Lord April 9, 2009, in Show Low. She was born May 18, 1918, in Cibecue. She will be dearly missed by all. Lucy is survived by her son, Danny Lewis Sr.; daughters Rosenda Lewis Hudson and Mary Lousie Lewis; brother-in-law Kay A. Lewis; son-in-law Vernon Hudson; grandchildren Aldora Lewis, Danny Lewis Jr., Dan Dean Lewis, Robert Dean Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Justin Lewis, Dannetta Lupe, Jolinda Lewis, Lucinda Lewis, Stephanie Lewis, Nancy Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Rodney Hudson, Andre Hudson, Marietta Lewis, Isacc Nagle, Amos Nagle, Stevan Nagle, Devin Ivins, Shurell Lewis, Raenesha Lewis and Jerome Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benson Lewis; son Franklin Lewis; and grandchildren Dewayne Lewis and Cheryl Lewis. A two-night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at Lewis's residence, 230 E. Cliffview Dr., House No. 68, in Cibecue. A home services will be held Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at the family home. Interment will be at Open Range Cemetery in Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
