MARVIN, Lewis W.


Lewis W. Marvin, 75, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 07, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Lewis and Annabelle Marvin. Lewis served in the US Navy, proudly, for 24 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer from the Navy in 1971. He was a member of the VFW and the National Bowling League. Lewis and his wife of 20 years, Patricia, moved to Lake Havasu City 16 years ago, coming from Sacramento, CA. He and Patte enjoyed their time together in Lake Havasu City and Lewis enjoyed his hobbies, which included, Bowling, Golfing, Shooting 8 & 9 ball and fishing. Lewis had a wonderful sense of humor and a special kindness that he showed to his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lewis is survived by his beloved wife, Patte Marvin of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; daughter, Linda Davis; son, Lewis Marvin; granddaughters, Angie Yeager, Melinda Thompson, Amanda Marvin and Tammy Dehart and great grandson, Aaron Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Evelyn Marvin and son, Mike Marvin. Visitation will be held at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, February 23, 2006 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Graveside Service will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM immediately following the viewing with Full Military Honors being presented by the Marine Corps League, Lake Havasu City Detachment.
