Lois Domroes Davis passed away Monday, February 9, 2009, at her residence with her loving husband at her side. Lois was born July 7, 1929, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Richard and Lydia (Brueckner) Domroes.
Lois had a love for music especially the piano. Following graduation from high school, Lois attended the Wisconsin Conservatory in Milwaukee to study music from 1945-1948. In 1949, she attended the Zion Bible Institute in Zion, Ill., for 1 year.
Lois spent most of her working career in banking. Upon moving to Lake Havasu City from Milwaukee in 1971, Lois went to work for the Valley National Bank as a bookkeeper and teller, retiring in 1988 after 17 years of service.
Lois and her husband, Stephen, then moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and lived there for three years. In 1991 they returned to Lake Havasu City where Lois went to work for the First Interstate Bank until retiring for good in 1996.
Lois enjoyed collecting dolls and loved playing the piano, but her true passion was her commitment and involvement with her church. Lois and Stephen were deeply involved with the youth groups and Sunday school at Stonebridge Christian Fellowship in Lake Havasu City as well as their church during their three years in Ft. Lauderdale. Her presence will surely be missed.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Stephen L. Davis, of Lake Havasu City and her sister, Gloria Muhich, of Milwaukee, Wis.
No services are scheduled however, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lois’ name to the Youth Department at Stonebridge Christian Fellowship, 2700 Jamaica Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406.
