"Myrtle Hardy Bloodworth 1917-2009 Myrtle Hardy Bloodworth, of Willcox, died Dec. 5, 2009 in Escondido, Calif. She was born in Tucson, Ariz., Sept. 22, 1917, the daughter of Wilford Hardy and Clara Ceddina Bingham Hardy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Bloodworth, and daughter Nettie Mae Jimenez. She is survived by sons William Leonard Welch (Cecelia) and Olien Leroy Welch (Paulette), sister Aurelia Hardy Nelson, 10 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren. She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she and her husband Waldo went on at least three missions together. She was a loving and generous mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother and friend to many. Her hospitality is not to be forgotten. Her family says she made the best green corn tamales they ever tasted. Services will be held at the Picture Rocks ward building in Marana, 13450 N. Lon Adams Dr., Marana, Ariz. at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. She will be interred at the Binghampton cemetery in Tucson."
