DANHOF, Gordon Frances (sic) passed away March 31st at home in Oro Valley, AZ.
He was born in Cadillac, MI. March 24, 1925 to Minnie Case and Edward Danhof. Graduated from Cadillac High School 1943 and joined the Army Air Corp as an Air Cadet. He trained as a pilot and as a Navigator. His regret was he never served overseas. He attended Michigan State University where he met his wife to be Sally. They were married August 31st, 1946. He graduated class of 1949 and was with Mpls. Honeywell in Albuquerque as District Mgr. He was with TwinDisc, Inc. in Racine, WI., as Gov. Sales Mgr.
He is survived by Sally; daughter Sheryl (Mark) of N'djamena, Chad, Africa, son Andrew (Lisa) of San Antonio, Texas; and grandchildren, Jessica, David, Rachel, Christina, Sarah, Michelle and Joshua.
He was a member of Council of Foreign Relations, Great Decisions, BIL, Spanish Club and El Groupa in Sun City. He was active at St. Andrews Church, He will be remembered for his love of languages, singing, jokes and puns. He loved to walk in the pool and exercise room with his friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and many friends.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Chapel 7650 N. Paseo del Norte, N.E. Corner. Rev. Carla Williams Associate Pastor. Interment will be in the Collenburium (sic). Donations may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 7650 N. Paseo del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704.
