Charlotte Voskamp McNulty Holiday, born July 15, 1928, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Marie and Ray M. McNulty, and widow of Matthew R. Holiday, died March 8, 2007 in Forth Worth, Texas, where she had moved in the late fall of 2006.
Mrs. Holiday is survived by her daughters, Lucy Cowan, Anne Holiday, and son, Matthew Holiday; and by two granddaughters, Sarah and Anna-Marie Cowan.
She was a graduate of Ellis School in Pittsburgh, PA; Wells College, Aurora, NY; and of the Carnegie Library School, Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to taking up residence in Fort Worth, Mrs. Holiday had lived in Birmingham, Alabama, since 2001, moving there after the death of her husband in Tucson, Arizona, where they had retired in 1988. Previously the couple had lived in Middletown, Ohio, as well as overseas stations in Argentina, Italy, Venezuela, and the Philippines over a period of more than twenty-four years.
A private memorial service was held March 20, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to your local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
