MALCOLM, Glenn A.


The Arizona Daily Star, October 26, 2003 Glenn A. Malcolm, 73, of Tucson, passed away in his SaddleBrooke home, on October 20, 2003, after a lengthy battle against cancer. Preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Shaw. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce; son, Don Malcolm of Goldsboro, NC; daughter, Marianne Berry of Tampa, FL and his sister, Doris Love of Broomfield, CO. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. He was born in Monte Vista, CO; graduated with BS and MA degrees from the University of Colorado. He served in the United States Air Force with the 61st Fighter Squadron. He taught and coached track and cross country at Chabot College from 1963 through 1994. Glenn also started a disabled rehabilitation program for the college. Memorial Services will be held at 1000 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, at the SaddleBrooke club house. Donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 310 S. Williams Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85711 in his memory. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Avalon Chapel.
