Harold Edgar Snow, Jr.
Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away March 8, 2006 at Casa de la Luz Hospice, Tucson. "Ed", age 78, was born in Florida but spent most of his life in New Jersey before moving to Tucson in 1995.
He was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Ed was employed for 41 years at Cycle Transformer Corp., where he was Vice President and designed and patented two solenoid coil designs. Ed was happily married to his wife Eleanor for 52 years. He enjoyed being an assistant leader of the Boy Scouts, and was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church of Whippany, where he served two terms as an Elder. In Tucson he was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and loved to golf and shoot pool with friends in Sun City, where he resided.
He is also survived by his loving children, Karen (Bo) Rizzo, of Tucson, Linda (Gordon Meier) Snow of Rockaway, NJ, and Rick (Maki) Snow, of Tucson, and grandchildren, Steven, Nolan, Kristen, Kenny and Mike.
The family thanks Julie and Mary from Bayada, and the staff at Casa for their compassionate care. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March
13, 2006 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 750 W. Chapala Drive, at 1100 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Ed's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 5132 E. Pima Street, Tucson, AZ, 85712. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, AVALON CHAPEL, 8090 N. Northern Avenue.
