Ronald W. Trafzer, Sr., 78 formerly of Yuma, died Thursday, June 29 in Show Low.  
     
Ron is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret, of Overgaard where they resided together; son Ron, Jr. (Sher) of Mesa; and daughters, Judy of Scottsdale, and Linda of Austin, Texas. Ron was a loving grandfather to Stephanie, Carrie, Doug, Renae, Elton, Chris, Michelle, Kevin, Christina, Deanna, Jon, Ron, and Andrea, as well as 13 great-grandchildren.
      
He was preceded in death by his son Gary, and grandson Michael. 
      
A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, July 5 at 1 p.m. at Shepherd of the Pines United Methodist Church in Overgaard.
      
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Ron.
