Gerald E. Story, 80 of Concho, died July 3, 2006 at RTA Hospice in Lakeside.
Mr. Story, a retired R.V. technician, was born April 17, 1926 in Middleton, Idaho. He grew up and attended school in Idaho. Following school, he enlisted in the Navy and served during WWII. Following the war, he moved to Colorado where he met and later married Maxine F. Land. They remained in Colorado, where Gerald worked in construction. After their children were grown, the couple moved to Tucson and managed a Mobile Home Park. Gerald also did R.V. repair until he retired in 1986. They settled in Concho in 1994.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Maxine Story of Concho; three daughters, Dianne Christensen of Arvada, Colo., Geraldine Mae Shafer of Lakewood, Colo., and Kristine Joyce Quijalvo of Concho; a son Donald Dene Knudsen of Modesto, Calif.; two brothers William Story of Clarkston, Wash., and John Story of Wash.; three sisters, June Christensen of Emmett, Idaho, Carol Howery of Wheatridge, Colo., and Goldene Durrington of Sacramento, Calif.
There are no services scheduled.
