MOCKBEE, Edna Mae

Edna Mae Mockbee 78, of Tucson, Arizona, went home with her Lord on June 23, 2010. She was born on September 26, 1931 in East Prairie, Missouri. She gave us her unconditional love, taught us to love each other and to follow Christ. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Brent Mockbee; children, David, Paul, Mark and Jeffrey; sisters, Sue and Helen; daughters-in-love, Barbara, Tammy, Ruth and Stacie; grandchildren, Diana, Bethany, Amanda, Sarah, Andrew, Caleb, Jacob, Hannah, Rebekah, Evan, Angela and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Preston and Rachel. She was preceded in death by parents James "Ed" and Kathleen "Kate" Hughes; siblings, Jimmie, Danny, James "Bud" and Mary. She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, and friend. She spent her life serving her Lord and caring for others. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Her legacy will live on. Friends may call at Casas Church, Barrier Chapel, 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. with Service to follow at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Gary Shrader officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
