Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Saturday, July 3, 2010 Marshall Richard Hughes, 80, passed away in Lake Havasu City on July 1, 2010. He was born on Sept. 7, 1929, in Maine to Harvey and Annie Hughes. Marshall served in the United States Marine Corps for four years before being honorably discharged. He and his wife of 40 years, Delores, moved to Lake Havasu City in 1978 where he enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting as well as traveling the 50 states — including Hawaii — more than once with his wife. He adored his family and never missed a graduation for his grandchildren. He is loved by many and we will cherish his memory as he’s gone now, but never forgotten. We love you always. Marshall is survived by his loving and tireless wife, Delores Hughes of Lake Havasu City; sisters, Madeline and Mariellyn; brother, Danny; children, Bruce, David and Katrina; step-children, Pattie, Duane and Donald; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel on at 10:30 a.m. July 8 with military honors.
