MCCONNELL, Donald Alphonso

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona December 11, 1980 Donald Alphonso McConnell died on Dec. 3 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. A pioneer in early aviation, he served with the Civil Aeronautics Administration, which later became the Federal Aviation Agency. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg, serving as Deacon and Elder. He was also a Mason and Shriner. Survivors include his wife Jane McConnell of Wickenburg; a daughter, Marilyn Misclen, Texas; a son, Donald Kent McConnell; and 5 grandchildren. Services were held on Dec 5 at First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg. Rev. Wick Hutchinson officiated. Also survivors include his wife Cecelia (not Jane) McConnell of Wickenburg; a daughter Marilyn Mischen and five grandchildren of El Paso, Texas, and a son Donald Kent McConnell of Dallas, Texas.
