Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Doris Mincy (April 29, 1928 - July 1, 2010) Doris Mincy, 82, of Show Low, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010, at her home. She was born April 29, 1928, in St. Johns, the daughter of John Thomas and Elda E. (Wilhelm) Bloomfield. She was raised and attended school at St. Johns. She was married to Joseph Heber Brenay on June 12, 1944 in St. Johns and they were sealed in the St. George Temple. They lived in Vernon and Show Low before moving to Mesa in 1958. She was later married to Ernest L. Mincy who preceded her in death. She had worked at various jobs but was always happiest being at home with her family. She returned to Show Low 4 years ago. She was a very talented lady and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include a daughter, Jo (Jim) Brookbank of Show Low; two sons, Rick Brenay of Young and Edson (Nancy) Brenay of Salineville, OH; 15 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Verdell Bloomfield and a sister, Mary Jane Todd. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 5, at Vernon Cemetery.
