Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Mary J. McPherson (November 3, 1948 - June 25, 2010) Mary J. McPherson, 61, of Lakeside, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010, at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. Mary was born November 3, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Robert and Wanda (McQueen) McPherson. She was raised and attended school in Urbana, MO, graduating from Skyline High School. She attended the University of Oklahoma for one year. She worked for Safeway for 27 years as a produce buyer, traveling all over the midwest and west. She came the the White Mountains in 1997 where she went to work for Cellular One. She loved to travel and had spent time in many countries overseas. Survivors include three brothers, Bill, Bob and Todd McPherson; 9 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 P.M., Saturday, July 3, in the chapel of Black's Mortuary, Show Low.
