John Hugh Smith, 97, of Wickenburg, died February 21 in Prescott.

Mr. Smith was born January 12, 1894 in Jacksburg, Texas.  He had lived in Arizona for the past 30 years.

He is survived by a step-daughter, Marilyn Gray of California.

There were no services.  Burial was in the Maricopa Memorial Cemetery.
