The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/01/2006 Helen Shultz, 64 of Pinetop, died July 24, 2006 at home. She was born and raised in Illinois, she attended school in Chicago. Following high school she went to work as a ticket agent for American Airlines. During her time at the airlines, she met, and later married, John Shultz. Together they made their home in Elgin, Ill., later moving to West Bend, Wisconsin, finally settling in Tucson in 1979. Helen spent time working for West Bend Manufacturing and worked with her husband in their own company, DJ's Electronics in Tucson. Following retirement, they moved to Pinetop. Helen is survived by her sons, David and Chris Shultz, both of Tucson; brothers, John Sprenger of Calif, and Paul Sprenger of Ill.; father, August Sprenger of Ill.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday, July 29 a 4 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Show Low. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
