ARNOLD, Kathryn Rose

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/04/2006 Kathryn Rose Arnold, 70 of Holbrook, died July 31, 2006. Kathryn was born and raised in Holbrook. She was raised by her grandmother and uncle. She attended school in Holbrook, graduating from Holbrook High School in 1956. Following school she worked as a waitress for the Gallegos family at El Rancho restaurant, here in Holbrook. She also worked part time at Jerry's in Holbrook. She married Troy Baldwin in 1957; they had three children. That union ended in divorce and she married Robert Arnold in 1972. They stayed in Holbrook and Robert preceded her in death in 1995. Kathryn enjoyed playing bunco and bowling. Kathryn is survived by daughters Tara K. Espitia of Holbrook, Gay Lee Baldwin of Holbrook, Ellen Arnold of Weatherford, Okla., and Denise Frazier of Cunton, Okla.; sons Allen Ray Baldwin of Holbrook, and Jeff Arnold of Los Lunas, N.M.; sister, Joy Simpson of Holbrook; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Robert Arnold; a daughter Erlina Kay Baldwin; grandson, Brandon Lee Hernandez, and great-granddaughter Mylene Rose Rivera. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 4, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Owens Mortuary of Holbrook. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Holbrook. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
