Lloyd Reed Lynn, 93, of Lakeside, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at Webb's Adult Care Home in Snowflake.
Lloyd was born Nov. 4, 1912, in Byers, Texas, the son of William Alfred and Cora Veal (Lemon) Lynn. He was raised and attended school in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was married to Phyllis in 1968. She preceded him in death in 1985. He had lived in Tucson, where he worked as a television repairman and later had his own shop. He then worked for a wholesale electronics firm. After coming to Show Low, he worked at King Hardware until retiring in the 1990s. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He was a member of the Show Low Elks Lodge for many years.
Survivors include a nephew, Dean (Sally) Henry of Tucson; great niece, Nina; great nephew, Gary; six great-great nieces and nephews; stepdaughter, Sherry Brown of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; and nephew, Bill Lynn of Calif.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Black's Mortuary Chapel in Show Low.
