HOWELL, Robert Jackson (Jack) Sr.


Robert Jackson "Jack" Howell, Sr. "Jack" 86, of Tucson passed away March 6, 2007. Born June 23, 1929 in Bassano, Alberta, Canada, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Myrna (Grammar) Howell in 1989 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Jack loved life. He enjoyed his 17 years of retirement by gardening, fishing, taking care of his birds and traveling with his beloved Myrna. Jack leaves behind his wife Myrna, sons Robert Jackson (Sherri) Howell, Jr., Daniel (Victoria) Grammar, John Grammar and daughters Dawn (John) Hoiland, Dana (Andrew) Elmer and Brenda (Jerry) Mosier; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who loved him as their Papa. Jack was preceded in death by his father, mother and a sister. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007 at the ADAIR-AVALON FUNERAL HOME, 8090 N. Northern Ave. with a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Binghampton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Family Care Agency or Family Life Radio.
