The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/01/2006 Charley P. Carroll died Aug. 25, 2006 in Holbrook. He was born Dec. 14, 1978 in Mesa. Charley was a World Karate Champion. He enjoyed the outdoors. Charley was the peacemaker of the family and wanted everyone to be happy. Charley is survived by two children, Kiersten Paige of Queen Creek, and Charley Caden of Tucson; his parents, Charley P. and Diane Carroll of Heber; brothers, Creston (Sarah) Carroll of Heber, Cody (Cherilyn) Carroll of N.C., and Candon Carroll of Heber; and his sister, Melannie (Keith) Ballard of Mesa. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Owens Mortuary, Snowflake Chapel with a funeral service Saturday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Heber. Interment will be at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
