Kenneth Earl Roehrman, 71 of Pinetop, lost his earthly bonds Aug. 30, 2006 and slipped quietly away into paradise with his Savior after he fought valiantly to recover from a devastating respiratory infection.
He was surrounded by his family, Judy, his wife of 46 years; his son, Todd of San Francisco, daughter, Becky Paparella (Robert) of Scottsdale; and daughter, Janet Flores of San Francisco. He is also survived by and his grandchildren, Anicka and Quinton Flores; sister, Carolyn Kutz (Jerry) of Wisc.; several nieces and nephews, his faithful dog Roxie, many friends and numerous cousins.
He was born to Fred and Lugene Roehrman April 29, 1935 in Olatha, Kan. His school years were spent in McPherson, Kan. where he graduated from high school. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was proud of his Eagle Scout achievement. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1958 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He married his wife Judy July 2, 1960 and moved to Phoenix in 1962 where they lived until moving to Pinetop.
He enjoyed photography, fishing, woodworking and camping with his family. He retired from Motorola Semiconductors Group after 20 years of service and two patents in 1994. After his retirement, he and his wife moved to Pinetop where he built their dream house and enjoyed the change of seasons and didn't mind when he got snowed in. He was an active member of the White Mountain United Methodist Church.
A celebration of life will be held at the White Mountain United Methodist Church in Show Low Saturday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.
