The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/08/2006 Michael David Romero, 46, died at his home in Eagar, Aug. 31, 2006. He was born March 8, 1960 in Show Low to Henry and Corina Romero. Michael loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved unconditionally. His survivors include wife, Brooke Romero, Eagar; sons, Adam Perez, Henry Romero and Jason Perez; daughters, Juliane Romero, Bryanna Romero, Jordan McCarthy and Ashley Perez; parents, Corina Dodge and step-father, Alvin Dodge; brothers, Jake, Joe, Julian, James, Leroy, Chris, Lawrence, Frank, Paul and Joseph; sisters Sandra, Josie, Corina, Nancy and Ana Maria; and three grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his father, Henry Romero; brother, Joseph Romero; grandmother, Josie White; uncle, Jesus Romero, and one grandson. A rosary was recited for Michael Sept 3 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. Johns. A funeral mass was held Sept. 4 at the same. Father John Sauter officiated. Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns, handled the arrangements.
