AMBRISTER, Roy

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/19/2006 Roy Ambrister died Sept. 2, 2006. Roy was born March 2, 1927 in Blackwater, Oklahoma to Athel and Nancy Ambrister. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping. He loved the White Mountains. He was an electrician, welder on construction for many years. He was also a very good mechanic. He was always there if anyone needed help, always willing to help others. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hamilton; his daughter; three grandchildren, Michael Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton and Teresa Enriquez, six great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Gavin, Malachi, Nathan, Scott and Todd. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bertha Eves, and Birdie Downing. Services were held Monday, Sept. 6. Arrangements were handled by Miles Mortuary of Globe.
