STOYER, Wanda Willie


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/22/2006 Wanda Willie Stoyer died Sept. 17, 2006 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah Nov. 21, 1928. She moved to California where she met and later married Ray Stoyer. They moved to Lakeside where they lived for 25 years. Wanda loved her work at Head Start and was Center Director of the Show Low Center for many years. After her retirement, she moved to Eagar where she was very active in her parish. Wanda is survived by her eight children, Scott Fullerton of California, Chris Fullerton of Washington D.C., Rebecca Jones of California, Bonita Peterson of Washington, Virginia Douglas of California, Jennifer Ketcham of Washington, Greg Stoyer of Hawaii, Sheila Wingfield of Calif., and one surviving sibling, her sister Wanda Marie Jordan of Oregon; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Owens Mortuary. Services were held at St. Mary of the Angels in Pinetop Thursday, Sept. 21 with private graveside services following.
