The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/22/2006 Mary F. Nugent, 84, died Sept. 13, 2006 at her home in Taylor after a long illness. She was born Jan. 22, 1922 in Canada. She owned and operated a bakery in Michigan. She liked knitting, crocheting and baking. Mary is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Bill) Presson; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Nugent, and daughter, Jane Smith. A memorial service will be held Friday Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Snowflake. Interment will be in Lake Port, Michigan. The family appreciates RTA Hospice for their gentle care provided to Mary. Also the family requests no flowers be sent but donations would be welcome in Mary's name to RTA Hospice, American Diabetic Association or The American Heart Association.
