Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, January 20, 2009 Kurt Lee Sommerstedt, 50, went to the Lord on Jan.14, 2009. He was born Dec. 15, 1958, in West Covina, Calif. Kurt moved to Lake Havasu City with his family as a boy, and graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 1977. He worked for many years in the boating industry, and was known by many for his God-given talent and ambitious spirit that shone through his work. Kurt is survived by his three children, Stephanie, Chantel and Steven; his parents, Orval and Gwen; his sister, Gloria; and his brother, Ralph; and other relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held in honor of the life of Kurt Lee Sommerstedt at noon, on Friday at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Following the service, there will be a Celebration of Kurt’s Life at 2285 N.
