The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 13, 1991, p.2 Helen L. Crayne, 64, of Bagdad, a former longtime resident of Wickenburg, died March 6 in Prescott. Mrs. Crayne was born August 3, 1926 in Jacksonville, Florida. She had lived in Arizona since 1956, moving to Wickenburg and residing there until 1977. She moved to Bagdad that year. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Bagdad. She worked for Thurber’s Calico Tree in Wickenburg for several years. Survivors include two sons, James of California and Richard of North Carolina; a brother, Richard Sleap of Jacksonville; her parents, Ethel and Pete Sorenson of Jacksonville; and seven grandchildren. Services were Monday at Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott, with the Rev. Doyle Russell officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery in Prescott.
