H.W. “Dutch” Clark, 79, of Wickenburg died March 20 in Wickenburg.
Mr. Clark was born March 27, 1911 in Anaheim, California. He had lived in Arizona for the past 19 years.
He was a graduate of the University of Oregon, and was a member of the 1935 college All-Star football team.
He served on the board of the Wickenburg chamber of Commerce, and was a member of Los Caballeros and Elks Lodge No. 2160 in Wickenburg.
He was retired from the Goodyear Tire Co.
Mr. Clark served on the Buckskins Volunteer Fire Department in Parker.
Survivors include his wife, June, of Wickenburg; three sons, Philip A. Clark of Sevenna Park, Md., Michael H. Clark of Phoenix, and Mark A. Clark of Wickenburg; four daughters, Claudia L. Woodward of Central Point, Oregon, Adrienne A. Cortes of Medford, Oregon and Cathleen J. Linton of Mission Viejo, California; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday, March 23 at St. Alban Episcopal Church. Rev. Dan Gerrard officiated.
