London Lee, 16 years old, was killed instantly when a rifle with which he had planned to shoot rabbits was discharged accidentally. 

The youth and three young companions were riding in a truck to a suitable area in which to hunt rabbits, and while scrambling around in the body of the machine he touched the rifle, knocking it over. 

The bullet struck him in the abdomen.
