Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Wednesday, July 7, 2010 James A. Breshears of Kingman passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010. He was born Aug. 20, 1944, in Phoenix, son of Arthur and Estelle Breshears. James spent his youth growing up in the Phoenix area with his family and adoptive family, the Calhouns. In his late teens, James joined the Marine Corps where he served his country in the Vietnam War. After serving his country, James returned to Arizona and got a job as a big-rig truck driver. James was preceded in death by both parents; a son, Charlie; and his sister, Joyce. James is survived by his wife, Margeret; son, Cody; daughters and sons from previous marriages: daughters, Jennifer Jacobs and Jody Bollen; sons, Robby Pruitt, Bernie and William Breshears; sisters, Janie, Rosie and Jeannie; and 11 grandchildren. He was a kind, good-hearted man who was loved by family, many nieces and nephews and cousins and friends. He is greatly missed by his wife, children, family and friends. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at VFW Post 10386, 3036 E. John L Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to P.O. Box 4771, Hualapai, AZ 86412.
