Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, July 6, 2010 Sylvia Marie Jodon passed away June 28, 2010, in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 45. She was born on Feb. 2, 1965, in San Diego, Calif. For several years, Sylvia worked as a manicurist in a beauty salon. She made Lake Havasu her home six months ago from Statesboro, Ga. Sylvia leaves behind her beloved family, son, Jeffrey William Jodon; daughters, Kathleen Elizabeth, Espinosa, Sarah Marie Davis; and parent, Roderick Gerald Darby Sr., and resting in peace with mother Flora Arlene Darby and daughter, Allison Marie Davis; two son-in-laws James Scott Gideion Sr. and Shawn Cartrette; brothers Blane Darby, Dwayne Darby and Roderick Darby II; sisters Joyce Lind and Debbie Padilla; and five grandchildren Kaylee Cartrette (11), Jacob Cartrette (3), Nevaeh Gideon (2), Gavin Cartrette (2) and James Giedeon Jr. (8 months). She also leaves behind her favorite niece, Tanya Darby; and her casino buddy, Eddie Rivera; and rest of the Darby family; and mother-in-law Jane Gideon.
