ROGERS, Albert (PaJoe) (Bill)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/29/2006 Albert Rogers, son of the late "Bill" Rogers and Etta Crandell Rogers Seymore, died of heart failure shortly after midnight Sept. 26, 2006 at Mesa General Hospital in Mesa. He was born Oct. 17, 1933, at home in Linden. He has left behind his beloved "lady," Evon. They had been sweethearts for nearly 51 years. He is also survived by his three children and their spouses, Marty and Dale Call, Will and Wynnie Rogers, and LaFawn and Tom Berry. Fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren were each able to visit him at the hospital and say their good-byes. PaJoe, as he was lovingly called, retired with over 30 years from Southwest Forest Industries (now called Abitibi) as a pipe-fitter/welder. He loved to travel, bake bread, make salsa, and meet new people. His legacy of unconditional love and service will be with us always. The viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2 at the Taylor Stake Center in Taylor. The funeral and interment will follow at 11 a.m. Please come and help us celebrate his life.
