Houston Edward Harris, 76, of Whiteriver died in Lakeside Sept. 26, 2006 of natural causes. 
      
Houston was born Feb. 20, 1930 in Winslow. He served his country in the US Army and Navy.
      
He is survived by his wife, Martha Susan Harris; sons, Gilbert Harris, Martin Harris; grandsons, Karl Harris, Josiah Harris, Cory Harris; granddaughter, Kasheena Harris; great-grandchildren, Tori Harris, Chenelle Harris, Baby Franko L. Harris; sisters, Judy Casner and Noreen Remy.
      
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Silver Creek Mortuary, 745 Paper Mill Rd.in Taylor, with Pastor Daniel Rautienberg of the Whiteriver Open Bible Lutheran Church officiating. Any questions, call Silver Creek Mortuary at (928) 536-4045.
