SCHUMAKER, Charles (Chuck)

Charles “Chuck” Schumacker passed away peacefully, on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 64th year. 

He was predeceased by his father Lt. Col. Charles (1991) and survived by his mother Naomi of Getzville, N.Y. He was the loved father of Michael (Angele) Schumacker, dear grandfather of Summer, long time companion of Garry Houghton. He is also survived by his brother Neil (Maryann) Schumacker of Florida. Chuck will be sadly missed by Christel and her family in Germany. He will also be missed by many cousins throughout the U.S.A. 

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Chuck’s life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at the Hammond Funeral Home and Chapel, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold, Ontario, Canada. If so desired, donations to the Tender Wishes Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
