WORTH, Walter D.

Walter D. Worth, 84, of Prescott died Saturday Aug. 5, 2000, while on vacation in Durango Colo. He was born July 28, 1916, in Canada; to Joseph W. and Agda (Almen Worth. Mr. Worth served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He moved to Prescott in 1981. He enjoyed being active in his retirement years, which included taking jewelry making and art classes at Yavapai College. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Yavapai Rose Society, Prescott Stamp Club, Prescott Camera Club. Quarter Century Radio club and the Westerners. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons Don of Valencia, Calif., Stephen of North Hollywood, Calif.; daughter, Betsy Nelson of Chester, Calif.; sister Blanche Judson of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Ave,. Prescott. Private family burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery.
