GREABER, Thomas Charles

Thomas Charles Greaber, Lieutenant, USN (Ret) beloved father and brother, died July 1, 2010 at the age of 76. Tom was born August 17, 1933 in Tucson, AZ. He graduated from Tucson High in 1951 then joined the Navy. After retirement in 1973, he obtained an MS in Accounting from the University of Arizona and worked 16 years as an accountant for the City of Tucson, retiring in 1995. Predeceased by wife, Leila; parents, James Patrick and Jennie Greaber; siblings, Marion Peeples, Margaret Bryant and John Joseph (Jay). Survived by son, Tom; daughter, Karen; brothers, James P. (Elizabeth), Andrew B., Eugene S. (Audrey); sister, Patricia J. Dowdle; sister-in-law, Joan; numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 North Paseo del Norte, Tucson, AZ. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial tributes be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, Arizona Chapter.
