SPURLOCK, Pollyanna


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/13/2006 Pollyanna Dale Spurlock, 27 of Payson, died Oct. 9, 2006 at Banner Estrella Hospital in Phoenix. Pollyanna was born May 24, 1979 in Gallup, N.M. Her family moved to Provo, Utah in 1980. They returned to Arizona, moving to Snowflake in 1983, Tempe in 1985, Mesa in 1986, Chandler 1996 and finally to Payson in 2000. She graduated from Latch High School in 2000. Following school she worked at Michael's Garden in Scottsdale, where she was an artist and a cashier. Pollyanna is survived by her patents, Charles and Nancy Spurlock of Payson; sisters, Jackie Begay of Payson, Nancy (Jerry) Winn of Sanders, Mary (Jim) Gale of Port Orchard, Wash., Gina (Raphael) Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas, Allie Spurlock of Payson, and Katie (Dave) Stanworth of Orem, UT; brothers, Kenneth Spurlock of Phoenix, and Robert (Michelle) Spurlock of Claypool; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 13 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ponderosa Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the corner of Aero and Ponderosa in Payson. Funeral service will be Saturday, Oct 14 at 10 a.m., also at The Church. Interment will be at the Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mesa Genealogical Library 41 S.
