WHITWORTH, Wayne Neal

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, June 24, 2010 Wayne Neal Whitworth, 72, of Cordes Lakes, Ariz., entered into Heaven on June 15, 2010. He was born May 26, 1938, in Springfield, Vt., to his parents William and Lena Whitworth. Wayne loved living in Arizona and enjoyed its beauty. He spent a lot of time hiking especially in Havasupai Falls at the Grand Canyon. Wayne had a huge heart. He retired his truck from bulk delivery at Pepsi Cola after 30 years of service. A very traditional man, Wayne always had a project going on or was tending to his family and his home. He simply enjoyed spending time listening to what everyone was doing. He always found the good in others, loved deeply and was loved by many. Wayne will be missed greatly. We love you, Dad. Survivors include his daughters, Carrie Janeal, Jodi Brace, Patricia Winters and Sandra Lee; and son Ralph Navarino. He also leaves behind his sister Beverly Parker; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many good loyal friends. A special thanks to Hospice Family Care in Gilbert - you all have been a gift to our family. Commemoration services in honor of Wayne will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010, at the Community Bible Church in Cordes Lakes with Pastor Richard Behrens. All friends and relatives are encouraged to attend the joyful remembering and celebration of Wayne's life. Information provided by survivors.
