DICKSON, David Montel, Jr., Born January 10, 1928 passed away on June 28, 2010.
Preceded in death by parents, David and Alma (nee Hill) Dickson and brother, Fred; son, David Michael Dickson and grandson, Francisco M. Munguia.
Survived by brother, Burle; former spouse, Delia R. Dickson; daughters, Debra A. Walker, Diane E. Munguia (Manny) and son, Dwayne F. Dickson; seven grandchildren an seven great-grandchildren. Dave was born in Elins, West Virgina and served in the Merchant Marines from 1944 to 1948. He then enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1948 and was Honorably discharged in 1955 in Tucson, AZ where he settled, married and raised his family.
As a local businessman he started with his own furniture store and later his own Real Estate company. He was employed by Jim Click Ford for many years. In his later years had his own television repair shop. He was an avid fisherman and dart player.
Thank you Marie for taking care of our Dad these last few years.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista. Dad, we will miss you and your enlightened words of wisdom. We love you.
