The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 8, 1991, p.2 Dales E. Mote, 54, of Wickenburg died April 29 in Wickenburg Community Hospital. Mr. Mote was born in 1936 in Dayton, Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for the past 20 years. He was employed by Smitty’s food stores, and was the former owner of the Gold Town Bar and Restaurant. He enjoyed fishing and horseshoes. Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Drost of Ohio; two sons, Steve and Mike, both of Ohio; a sister, Jo Ana Smith of California; a stepdaughter, Denise of Phoenix; his fiancée, Vickey Anderson; and six grandchildren. Memorial services were Thursday, May 2 at Sunland Lakeside Chapel in Sun City.
