The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 8, 1991, p. 2 Ferenth “Fern” E. Willis, 91, of Wickenburg died May 5 in Peoria. Mrs. Willis was born March 14, 1900 in Morelos, Mexico. She had lived in Arizona for 78 years and had lived in Wickenburg since 1931. She was an active member of the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints’ ward in Wickenburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Willis, in 1986; a son, Lloyd, in 1949; and two son-in-laws, Glen Kirkham in 1979 and J. Willey Hansen in 1981. Survivors include three daughters, Ilene W. Hansen and Natalie Kirkham of Wickenburg and Sara Spigner of Flagstaff and Wickenburg; a son, Dwain Willis of Surprise; two brothers; one sister; 13 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at the LDS church in Wickenburg. Bishop Kevin Shumway will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, May 10 At the Wickenburg Funeral Home from 6:30pm-7:30pm., and Saturday at the LDS Church from 9:30-10:45a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the LDS Missionary Fund of Wickenburg, PO box 20344, Wickenburg, AZ 85358.
