The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 29, 1991, p. 2 Jim R. Blomquist, 63, of Wickenburg died May 26. Mr. Blomquist was born September 1, 1927 in Chokio, Minn. He had lived in Arizona for the past 12 years and in Wickenburg since 1989. Mr. Blomquist was a 1951 graduate of North Dakota State University and worked 24 years as a certified public accountant with the firm of Brocker Hendrickson & Co., 16 years as a partner. He helped build the firm to 15 offices in five states as an assistant administrative partner and head of the audit department. He left Brocker Hendrickson in 1975 to open a gift store in West Yellowstone, Montana which he operated until 1981. In Fargo, North Dakota, he was a member of the Elks Club, Lions Club, Fargo Jaycees, Masonic Club, Scottish Rite, and held the Life Membership Award by the North Dakota Society of CPAs. At the time of his death, Mr. Blomquist was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg. Survivors include his wife, Dolores Blomquist of Wickenburg; a sister, Gail of Sauyer, North Dakota; seven children, Debbie of Queen Creek, Craig of Glendale, Mark of Richland Hills, Texas, Laurie of Belgrade, Montana, Nancy of Williston, North Dakota, Marcella of Minot, North Dakota and Michael of Tucson; his mother, Fern of Minot, North Dakota and 14 grandchildren. His first wife of 23 years, Lois, died in 1973. Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wickenburg. Rev. William Buege will officiate. Services are also scheduled for Saturday, June 1 at the Hans-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, North Dakota. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota.
