The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 12, 1991, p. 2 Edward J. Foley, 70, a retired veterinarian and former winter resident of Wickenburg, died Friday, May 30 in Littleton, Colorado. Mr. Foley was born in 1921 in Oelwein, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University at Ames, where he participated in varsity wrestling while pursuing a veterinary medicine degree. While attending college he met and married Mary (Pat) Gage. She died in 1977 and Mr. Foley later married Shirley McMillen, who also preceded him in death. He took an avid interest in scouting and baseball and was an avid traveler in his later years, visiting the British Isles, Africa, Russia and the South Pacific. Survivors include two sons, John, of Englewood, Colorado and Michael, of Stillwater, Minnesota; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were Sunday, June 9 at St. Mary’s Calvary Cemetery in Tracy, Minnesota. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
