BEMROSE, Milo Claire

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 26, 1991, p. 2 Milo Claire Bemrose, 76, a longtime Wickenburg resident, died June 21 at Maricopa County Hospital. Mr. Bemrose was born in Ananiosa, Iowa in 1915. He had lived in Wickenburg since 1960, moving to the community from Iowa. Mr. Bemrose was an entertainer and dancer for some of the nation’s top big bands in the 1940s and 1950s, including the Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller bands. Survivors include two sons, Duane, of Wickenburg, who came to the community for years from Memphis, Tenn. to care for his father; Dennis, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Pamela Neal, also of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Duane Bemrose II, Pricilla Vick, Jennifer Neal, Angela Neal and Angela Jarvis, all of Cedar Rapids; and two great-grandchildren, Amber and Jessica Vick. Also, Ms. Lacy Morse, now a resident of Wickenburg, came with Duane Bemrose to help care for Mr. Bemrose. The family wishes to extend its thanks to all who helped with Mr. Bemrose during his illness.
