The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 17, 1991, p. 2 Josephine “Jo” M. Rush, 74, of Yarnell died July 6 in the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. Mrs. Rush was born May 21, 1917 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She had lived in Arizona for 19 years, moving to Yarnell in 1983 from Apache Junction. She was retired from the Quaker Oats Co. since 1971. She worked for the company 20 years as an office worker. Mrs. Rush was an active member of American Legion Post No. 79 Auxiliary serving as chaplain for the past two years. Always young at heart, she tubed down the Colorado River and snow tubed this past winter. Survivors include a daughter, Jaci Keltner of Williams; two sisters, Marian Ryan of Las Crescenta, California and Ann Pekarovick of Yucca Valley, California., longtime friend Brad Loomer; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services were Thursday, July 11 at American Legion Post No. 79 in Yarnell. Private cremation was conducted. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1550 E.
