KASE, Robert Frederick

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/09/2010 Robert Frederick Kase, 94, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at his home in Pinetop. He was born March 2, 1916, in Carbondale, Pa. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Betty, after their marriage of 56 years. Bob is survived by a son, Robert (Carol) of Palm Desert, Calif.; daughter, Peggy (John) of Pinetop, and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. During his lifetime, Bob was active in the Boy Scouts of America, the Elks and Lion's Club. In 2009 he was honored as a lifetime member of the Lion's Club International at the Pinetop Chapter. He also received the Melvin Jones award from the Lion's Club. Bob retired after 42 years with Wilson & Co. of Oklahoma City and subsequently as Chief Financial Officer of Chalet Foods. He was an enrolled agent with the IRS for many years and prepared tax returns and certified financial reports for many clients - some from Pinetop-Lakeside-Show Low areas.
