GOELZ, Albert O., Jr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/24/2006 Albert O. Goelz Jr., 80, of Snowflake, died peacefully in his home Oct. 20, 2006. He was born Feb. 1, 1926 in Calif. and moved to Snowflake in the mid-90s after retiring from the motion picture industry. Having been a member of the MP Electricians and Teamsters unions, he had the opportunity to explore locations around the world. In his younger years he was an Army Pvt., an avid racer in the WRA Sprint Car Circuit, a treasure hunter and hunting enthusiast. He also owned a machine shop where he exercised his exceptional mathematical mind. He is now with his parents and brother Joe, and is survived by his wife, Dee, brother Frank, and many nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. at Snowflake Cemetery. Arrangements by Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor.
